Easy and quick recipe. /
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
26 oz pasta sauce
1 tsp salt
1 tsp italian seasoning
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
1/8 tsp garlic powder
8 oz lasagne noodles (8 or 9 noodles) – cooked
1 cup mozzarella cheese + a little more
1 cup ricotta cheese
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
4 slices mozzarella cheese OR additional grated mozzarella (I like grated instead of slices)
Instructions:
Preheat oven 350. Brown ground beef in large skillet until cooked.
Add sauce and seasonings. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer a few minutes while cooking pasta.
Cook noodles according to package directions.
Place half of noodles in lightly greased 12x8x2 inch baking dish, slightly overlapping lengthwise edges.
(If you prefer a thicker lasagna… Or use 8×8 pan and cut noodles in half and double the layers – this will need 9 noodles instead of 8).
Spoon 1/3 of meat mixture over noodles; add half shredded mozzarella+, ricotta, and parmesan cheese. (may be different amounts if using 8×8 pan).
Repeat layers, and spoon on remaining meat mixture.
Arrange mozzarella slices on top – or use shredded mozzarella cheese.
Bake 350 for 30 minutes.
