Simple, delicious comfort food /
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 jar marinara sauce
basil, parsley
1 pkg 10 oz refrigerated cheese ravioli
8 oz (1 cup) shredded mozzarella cheese
2 Tbsp grated parmesan
Instructions:
Heat oven to 350. Coat 2 quart oval baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Bring large pot water to a boil.
Crumble ground beef into large nonstick skillet. Cook 5 minutes over med high heat until browned. Remove from heat and stir in 1 cup of marinara sauce, and about 1 tsp each of basil and parsley.
Meanwhile, cook ravioli for 5 minutes in boiling water. Drain and return to pot. Stir in remaining sauce, and about 1/2 tsp each of basil and parsley.
Pour half the ravioli into prepared dish, spreading level. Top with meat sauce and 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella. Add remaining ravioli to dish and top with remaining 1/4 cups shredded mozzarella and the parmesan.
Bake 350 for 20 minutes. Increase oven to broil and broil ravioli for 2 minutes.
